How do you restore your email account?

It depends on what type of email account this is. Hotmail/Windows Live Users: Try emailing Microsoft/Windows Live support, and ask them to restore your account. Alternatively, you can leave your account and not sign into it for at least 3 months - this will render your account inactive. You can then sign in again, and your emails should have been deleted, and possibly your contacts. 'Outlook' Users - You probably use a POP3 account provided by your workplace or ISP (the company that provides your internet access). If your account is the cause of the problem, you can reset your account settings, or delete your account and create it again. Go to Tools | Email Accounts... | View or change existing email accounts. You may use an alternative client to Outlook, but the method is usually very similar. Webmail clients (like Hotmail) usually have a Reset Settings option (look under advanced options, or check the FAQs)
