The simple answer is that you can't. Firstly, muscle is easier for your body to consume than fat, so the first thing that will happen is you will become very weak but not actually lose much in the way of fat.

Then, when your body realises it is starving it will start converting

anything you do intake into fat rather than letting you burn it off through normal exercise.

Once you finally DO start burning significant quantities of fat you will

already be pretty unhealthy and if you were trying to lose weight to look good you will have failed, because your eyes and skin will look terrible.

Finally when you give in to instinct and start eating again to prevent yourself from starving to death your body will remain in "storage mode" for some time and during this period you will put back on every single pound of fat that you lost.

There is no better way of losing weight than a frugal, balanced diet complemented by regular exercise. Remember also that muscle is heavier than fat, so if you are toning up you will lose fat and appear more lean, but actually gain weight on the scales.

starving yourself in any way or form is when you do not allow your body to eat what it has to in order to survive normally. it is when you are ignoring your body's cry for food. starving isnt always bad, like you might starve yourself when you are hungry and cant get to food until an hour later, like if you are in school and you are hungry 4th period and lunch is next, but during the lunch you eat correctly, that is fine. starving becomes a bad and serious thing when you are so focused on losing weight and the way you look. you can tell when your hair thins out and your body becomes drastically thinner within weeks of starving yourself. it is when you eat less than the amount of calories you need for yourself on a daily basis. your nails are going to become brittle and your face will turn pale and yellow toned. you will know you are starved wether it is for an hour or week if you get really tired and cant concentrate. this doesnt change if you are starving yourself through an hour or to the point where you are anorexic, when you dont eat when you are hungry. and throwing up food (bulimic) and other such eating disorders are considered starving yourself. whether you eat the right foods and then throw it up, or dont eat them at all, it is considered the same thing.

Starving yourself is when you cease to eat. I highly discourage this, not eating can potentially cause major health concerns.

That being said, if you must starve yourself, allow yourself only fresh fruits, vegetables and water. No juice (too much sugar), just water with fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. AnalysisLet's think about this, shall we? To be starved of something is 'to be deprived of something necessary.' If you eat, even just a little, you are not, technically, starving yourself.

So, the best way to starve yourself? There is no best way, there is only one way. Which is to not eat. At all. Which is not safe. At all.

Now, a severe diet plan would be celery and apple bits and water. And that's not safe either, you need more proteins and fiber. So unless you are considering suicide, I suggest not starving yourself. But that's your choice :-D

There is no reason to starve yourself.

Starvation doesn't even help you lose weight. If you want to be thinner, eat healthy foods at least four times a day and exercise for 1-2hrs a day. You will drop the weight faster than starvation and it won't give you all the awful health conditions that anorexia can cause.

Well that easy... don't starve yourself! Its not healthy and can do alot of damage to your self. Don't put yourself throuhg that. I have a friend who used to do that and she was only 13! She is now 14 and has stopped dead in her tracks of starving her self. I'm telling you it changed her life for the better. So I would suggest not going through that.
