They make a special wrench to remove the fan. If you are going to replace the water pump then you can use a long chisel and hamer to strack the fan nut to loosen it up. And then spen it off. When you put it back on, tighten it by hand. Then hit it easy with hammer and chisel to tighten it a little. Do not hit it hard or you will damage the new pump. When you start the engine, It will tighten itself by the force of the engine turning the fan. TRUST ME.
how do i take the fan cluch off a 89 ford ranger yo replace
how to take off the clutch fan in 96 blazer, trying to change water pump?
Hey guys, I trying to take off a fan clutch on my 2003 chev blazer and want to know if I have to remove the radiator to do it.
remove 7 bolts to take fan guard off and start removing the lines off the radiator and give it a tug and should come out mine did
REMOVE THE SINGLE DRIVE BELT, THEN REMOVE THE 4 MOUNTING BOLTS BETWEEN THE FAN AND THE BELT PULLEY. THE FAN MIGHT NEED TO BE WIGGLED OFF
I also have a 97 Blazer, and have swapped out for an electric fan. The one I used came off of a 98 Chrysler Sebring at a Pull and Pay, and it's worked just fine.
There is no possibility of cards fan ever take off. There is no way that the fans of cards will ever take off.
