Detox Pad (Patch) works just like the osmosis pressure in a plant. Tree roots transport water to other branches utilizing its semi-permeable membrane. The heat from the Detox Pad (Patch) helps absorb perspiration from the bottom of our foot.

The bottom of the foot is the location where most of the nerves in our body end. Therefore, the Detox Pad is best used on the sole of the foot to clean out waste and toxic materialsthat are expelled in the form of sweat.

they are foot pads that are suppose to draw out toxins from your body. (I don't believe it)

Can using the kinoki foot pad causse an allergic reaction in some individuals?

Kinoki foot pads are actually a hoax, anyway; they turn brown/black due to oxygen exposure, not "body toxins." But I doubt they'd cause allergic reactions.

Is kinoki approved by the FDA?

A search for Kinoki on www.FDA.gov yields no hits, period. On March 20, 2008, FDA issued an import alert banning importation of Kinoki Detox Foot Pads, manufactured by Shanghai Huazhou PSA Products Co, Ltd, because the products are unapproved medical devices.

What happens if you walk around with the Kinoki pads on?

If a person walks around with the Kinoki pads on, there is a chance that toxins will enter the body again through the pads and bottom of the feet. The pads will eventually break open, causing staining to other footwear or the floor.

Who shouldn't use ion foot baths?

These kinds of detox claim to be treatments to a problem that does not exist. These kinds or products, like Kinoki foot pads, are scams. They claim that toxins accumulate in the feet and need to be removed. This is a lie. The chemicals in the pads, however, are toxic and can get into the body through the feet. This is clearly not a treatment of any kind. No detox of any kind is necessary. This kind of treatment is considered an alternative medicine.

Assuming they washed their feet first did the people who say Kinoki didn't work get crud on the pads?

(* The brand name product from Kinoki are foot pads that are advertised as 'cleaning the body" by absorbing body impurities through the feet.)Anyone can use them, but they don't work, just turn colors from sweat.Take one and put a little water on in and it turns brown. Cover any part of the body and it will sweat when you sleep, so that's how they "work." They can be used on a 1-week-old and you will get the same result.

Can you buy kinoki in stores locally?

You can buy them at CVS. They are a different brand....but same concept. They are called Body Pure detox foot pads. As of now buying them in the store is more expensive than buying them online. You can buy them on the Kinki website and I found them on Ebay. They are cheaper on eBay if you are buying BULK, like for you and your spouse and a friend. If you just want them for yourself I suggest buying them on the kinoki website.

Your detox foot pads turn brown?

if you're talking about the Kinoki foot pads that they advertise on TV, don't fall for it. Those foot pads that supposedly are rid your body of toxins are a complete scam. They conducted an experiment with them and it revealed that if the pads are held next to ANY warm surface- ranging from your feet even to a tea kettle- they will turn brown or black, making you think that the pad is getting rid of the toxins. So when they say on the commercial that you can keep ordering more pads until you no longer have toxins being released from your body, you just end up shelling out hundreds of dollars a month for no reason because the pads will never stop changing color. DON'T FALL FOR IT!!
