Japan is said to be a DECADE more advanced than the western world, and S.Korea is, I would say, a few years more advanced than western countries in a number aspects - no wonder why MS and other huge American tech firm(s) test their prototype products in S.Korea first with picky Korean consumers before their mass products are in debut world wide.
