plants affects greatly the factor of our environment. they beautify our environment. they does a great job also for the insects who depends on them sharing and also they protect us human also because we get oxygen from the plants. they even prevent harmful damages may occur when there is typhoon flood land slide they are really big factors for the environment.
Lots of ways lol Idk relly but it makes the Earth cleaner and the trees absorb Co2 which makes less greenhouse gases.( Thers lots more reasons but im lazy.)

Short Version:

1) Trees take in the carbon dioxide animals (including humans) breathe out, and give out the oxygen animals breathe in. Our respiration coexists with their photosynthesis- we need each other.

2) Provide habitats for wildlife. Large, sturdy, water-absorbing. A single tree can support multiple species eg. rodents living in a hollow under some roots, birds nesting in the branches, and insects.

3) Keeps soil from eroding. Erosion can be a big problem depending on the location, but I don't know much about this.

Longer Version:

First: Trees, like any other plant, take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen in a process known as 'photosynthesis'. This process coexists with the breathing action of animals (including humans) which takes in oxygen for respiration and gives out carbon dioxide into the atmosphere as a by product- a naturally occuring cycle in which both animals and plants are necessary.

Second: Trees are (probably) the largest forms of plant life, and therefore have a large influence on the wildlife of the surrounding area. Some ways of this include providing habitats, not just for animals but for other plant life (moss comes to mind). A single tree will never be bound to a single species either. Birds, insects, arachnids, and mammals can all build their home in either the roots, bark, or branches of a tree. Cutting down trees, as is happening to the Brazilian rainforest, destroys many habitats for animals. What makes the situation worse is that people say there could easily be many new species in the rainforests that remain undiscovered, and the trees that have already been cut down may already have made some species extinct before man has even had the chance to record it in history.

Third: Trees protect the soil from water. It does this in a number of ways. The roots of a tree are naturally extensive and branching, and can cover an area as large as its branches above (this likely changes with species of tree), and along a riverbank the roots act as a framework that holds most of the wet soil in place, stopping it from mixing with the river. Also, the roots constantly draw up water, from the tips of the roots to every leaf on every branch. The rate at which water is absorbed gets higher as there is more water in the soil; so when it rains, there is not nearly as much water in the soil around a tree as there is in, say, an open field.

Hope this helped :/

Plants are at the bottom of the food chain. They are called autotrophs (organisms that make their own food). Herbivores, like cows, eat the plants in order to get energy (Heterotrphs - organisms that get their energy from consuming other organisms). Then there are the carnivores, like foxes, that kill and eat the herbivorous cows. Finally, us humans are at the top of the food chain. We "eat" everything. If there were no plants or animals, there would be nothing living. The environment would be a barren wasteland with only rocks.

Plants are very important. Through an amazing process known as photosynthesis, they create oxygen for us to breathe. They also give us a food source.
