Polar bear survival is very important because their ecological niche is regulating ringed seal populations. Without polar bears, ringed seal populations would expand, which would cause a collapse of the Arctic food web. Ringed seals eat other organisms, and those organisms' populations would decrease, affecting other organisms that make up the Arctic food web.
It would remove the Arctic regions top predator, which would upset the natural balance of the area. However, polar bears are not endangered yet, but they are threatened, and we must do all we can to help the bear remain as the king of the northern ice floes.
The polar bear is important to biodiversity in various ways. It eats some of the species in the biodiversity which creates a balance in the ecosystem.
Polar bears contribute to biodiversity by acting as predators. They remove excess animals such as seals from the environment so that those that are left can thrive.
Depletion of ozone layer causes the ice caps to melt. This affects the polar bears.
the lowest biodiversity is in the polar regions!#NEW~NEW!!
Polar bears are indigenous to the Arctic regions. There are no Polar bears on Antarctica.
they are both mammals
They haven't. Polar bears are now a threatened species. If the polar ice cap goes, then so do the polar bears, as they rely on oceanic ice to secure their food.
It gives the Polar bears gas .
Grizzly bears don't affect the life of polar bears. They are just the same type of species living in a different area . They have no effect on each other.
Polar bears and emperor penguins live on opposite sides of the earth, so they do not affect each other. They dont
yes. yes they do
Global Warming does affect the survival rate of Polar Bears because Global Warming Melts the ice.
Starvation.
Depletion of ozone layer causes the ice caps to melt. This affects the polar bears.
From a logical standpoint, I would say that biodiversity is compromised by Global Warming because some species cannot withstand the temperature changes. The best example, perhaps, is the polar bear. Polar bears live in a habitat comprised entirely of ice. The ice melts, leaving them without a place to live. Loss of habitat also means a loss of food sources, contributing to the end of more polar bears. In addition to some animals dwindling in numbers, others thrive in the climate change and take the place of other declining species.
polar bears are related to bears.
Polar bears do.
They reproduce.
no where for them to live because the ice would melt
