Animals protect themselves in many ways. For ex some animals change their colour according to the surrounding and hide themselves.(like Chameleon, tree lizard, desert snake) some animals run fastly to protect themselves(deer, Kangaroo) some animals spray some venom to protect themselves(Some frogs, snakes) some animals produce bad odor to protect themselves(shrew)
It depends on the animal. Some use noise, smell or camorflarge. Other animals such as tigers use their teeth and claws.
There are various methods for defence, depending on the animal.
Animal that could be prey, must constantly avoid being eaten. For this reason, these creatures have to resort to defense mechanisms. Examples of some defense mechanisms prey use are:
Chemical combat as some frogs use.
Camouflage like the chameleon use.
Speed as vegetarian animals run all day to avoid predators.
Trickery: false features and mimicry as butterflies do for surviving.
They will fly away, will fight with talons and beaks.
they have specail stuff that they mostly hide
They run away or camouflage themselves in their habitat.
"Birds of prey" are those birds who hunt, kill and eat other animals. Examples include raptors like the bald eagle and owls such as the Great Horned Owl.
Birds of Prey, other snakes.
prey can also be predators ex: small birds
Because they have a intoxicating smell which birds cant stand
Not outright, but if the birds are shot with lead pellets the predatory birds can get lead poisoning.
Birds need their beaks to obtain prey and defend themselves.
They defend themselves by pecking at other birds. This often will scare away other birds.
They attack prey from behind.
they defend themselves by staying near other birds or using their sharp beak as a chisel .
They defend by the way their worst enemy attack
By staying high in the trees and not to stay in the open too long. Also they eat really fast when they are in the open field. Also by breeding and traveling in groups. I must say not all birds live in flocks.
kakapo are native non-flying birds of n.z
It can be prey. While corn snakes feed on small mammals and birds, they themselves may fall prey to birds of prey, alligators, foxes, coyotes, other snakes, and more.
Tigers use teeth and nails to catch their prey and to defend themselves.
They fly up into a tree!
Many animals have sharp claws. They have to defend themselves from predators, and cut the flesh of the prey.
They are both. All snakes are predators, but many are prey themselves to animals such as birds of prey, wolves, crocodiles, and even other snakes.
