In order to replace the heater core, you have to go through heck to get to it. You have to take out the glove box, and most of the center console covers. It is located in a box in the floor basically behind where your radio, heat and AC control and all that jazz is. My advice is to pay to have it done if you can. It is a major pain in the booty to replace. After you get to it, it's fairly simple. You have to unclamp the hoses that go to it from underneath the car, pull out the old one, pop in the new one and hook the hoses back up. Then reassemble the inside of your car. Whew! Takes forever for such a simple thing. lol
