All I know is that the instructions in the owners manual of a 2006 Colorado don't work. It says
1. Turn the key to "ON"
2. press the odometer button until "Oil LIfe" appears above the mileage.
3. press and hold the odometer button in and "oil life" change to reset.
4. continue holding until you hear beeping the release.
4. Turn the key to "off"
dealer and 3 different oil change shops tried and it won't reset....
I gave up and went back to paper records.
