Canada is a multilignual country, with Punjabi being the third most spoken and over one hundred langages being used regularly. Outside of one province French is a minority language with much less use than other languages.

French and even English would be in major decline if it was not for the language laws in Canada that require the use of English and French. So they contribute by making their languages the law.
