∙ 13y agoI think that watching violence on tv makes normal people FEEL violent and not act on them out of common sense and self control. But some mentally unbalanced people and people with poor impulse control and who don't know any better like some teens and most young children would feel the need to act on those impulses. So I don't believe it's the violence on television per se "making" people violent (any more than guns "make" people violent), it's already violent people thinking it's okay to do so. Television is always a convenient excuse for when somebody does something stupid.
