Best Answer

No. Horses are herbivores that eat grass, not carnivores that eat fish

A strange fact is, that the Icelandic Horse used to actually "catch" fish and eat them. They used to walk into the shallow water and stomp the fish with their hoofs. It was a great source of protein for them! Today, there are still some Icelandic Horses who eat fish, often dried fish. They also like cod-liver oil, it is great for their skin and shiny coat.

No Wild horses are not omnivores, they do not eat meat, even if they accidentally ingest some small creature like an insect. Their digestive systems are not designed to break down meat in any form.

Well, to be honest, there really aren't any true, feral (wild) horses left in America. When there were wild horses in America, they ate grass and plants.
