Idle speed is set by the PCM and IS NOT ADJUSTABLE.
It will not idle at the proper speed (750 RPM).
All you need is to recharge the system with freon .

It is normal for the RPM to increase a little when put in park or neutral. If the RPM increases by a lot, then you need to adjust your idle speed.
5000-5500 rpm
check your ecu under the dash ( behind stereo and cubby hole .. shifter cover comes off ) there might be an idle adjuster in the computer if not take it to a mechanic
