Best is a opinion, but I prefer the UTG M32 Master Sniper Rifle, It Has 430 FPS and Costs $80 Without Scope. I bought mine From PyramidAir.com With Scope, Bipod, Sling, and Extra Mag for $120. The best Airsoft sniper by power is the Green Gas M700P Sniper Rifle Competition Modle, 720 FPS For $200 Fr…om Hobbytron.com But no one will play with you if you are using it . 700fps or more is illegal without license its considered a type two weapon and you can get in serious trouble--not recommended. There is really no best airsoft sniper rifle, because there is a lot up to personal preference. All ARES sniper rifles are very good, my personal favorite being the MSR-004 because of its unique bullpup design. If you are looking for a semi automatic sniper rifle, the Reals Sword SVD is one of the best ones out there. There is also a large range of very good M14 sniper rifles and tons of bolt action ones in all price ranges. (MORE)
A difficult question to answer, but the average sniper rifle in the.300-.308 caliber can shoot anywhere between 100 and 800 yards. A.50 caliber is estimated to effective at about 4 kilometers (2.5miles). Answer US snipers are trained to engage targets at ranges up to 1000meters. In combat, there is …rarely the need, or the desire, to killsomeone 1000 meters away--and there's the knowledge, that of allthe people US snipers have killed, only three people were ever shotat that range. Snipers prefer to work at 500 to 600 meters if theycan get in that close. The longest kill recorded in the Vietnam War was at a range wellover a mile; a Marine Corps sniper armed with an M2 .50-calibermachine gun (firing single shot) made the kill. The longest confirmed recorded kill by a military sniper is 2430m(about 1.5 miles), set during Operation Anaconda (Afghanistan,2002) by a Canadian soldier, Rob Furlong. The previous record wasindeed set in Vietnam, 1962, by Carlos Hathcock at a distance of4576m (about 2.6 miles). (MORE)

The world's best sniper rifle is the M-200 CheyTac aka The Intervention. It has been tested and proven to be the world's greatest sniper rifle. (MORE)
Depends upon which nationality and which war. The '03 Springfield was last used by the US during the Korean War. The US Marines used the Winchester model 70 with a Unertl scope & the US Army used the M14 (XM21) with a Redfield scope in the Viet War. The NVA used a Mosin-Nagant model 1891.
Because of the design of the P9. It can-not be modified or changed. Any changes void the Warrenty. There is no "Hop-up system" designed into the gun.
The longest sniper rifle shot ever confirmed was at a range of exactly 8,120ft. The shot was made with a Accuracy International L115A3 sniper.
I don't know if this counts as a sniper rifle but the Russians had some hand-held anti-tank rifles that had very long barrels. But the modern sniper rifle is a .50 caliber like these anti-tank rifles were.. Russian 14.5 mm antitank rifle PTRD-1941 Overall length: 78.7 inches Barrel length: 48.3… inches. http://www.rt66.com/~korteng/SmallArms/antitank.htm. The Germans also made some Panzerbüchse ("Tank Rifle") rifles. The PzB 38 had an overall length of 161.5 cm. The longest sniper kill in recorded history was made in Afghanistan by a Canadian sniper with a .50 caliber TAC-50 rifle at a range of 2,430 meters, which is well under 4 miles. Even at this range with such a powerful weapon, it was a lucky shot, which would lead to the conclusion that a kill at 4 m…iles would be next to impossible. - - - - - I don't think you'd ever kill someone from four miles away with a sniper rifle. That's six thousand meters. If you were trying to shoot someone with a .50-cal round, you're looking at a flight time of roughly seven seconds. In that time wind can push the bullet, the target can move, someone could walk in front of the bullet, just lots of things. Also, the maximum effective range of the round is somewhere between 1000 and 2000 meters depending on what you fire it in. If you need to kill someone that far out and you can't move closer, you're better off calling in artillery on him. (MORE)
It's not a bad weapon... I guess it really depends on what you a are snipeing, the ammo you use, and the scope you have. AND OF COURSE HOW GOOD OF A SHOT YOU ARE...LOL
It is believed that sniper rifles were invented around 1857 withthe advent of the Enfield rifle. This rifle was then surpassed bythe Whitworth rifle which became the first long range sniper rifle.
Mr.Springfield did, an American General. Well it depends on what kind of Springfield as the 30-06 Springfield which was used in World War 2 as a sniper in the U.S Army. Springfield Armory invented that kind of Sniper Rifle during World War 2. Another Springfield would be the Springfield m1903 which… is used in the ROTC programs acroos America today. Springfield is the name of the Arsenal in SPRINGFIELD MASS. There were many variations designed and made by the arsenal during WW1 and WW2. The last model was the 1903A4, it was manufactured by Remington. (MORE)
The Most accurate sniper rifle in the world is the Chey Tec Intervention, this gun shoots a .408 round that is powerful enough to stop a helicopter if u hit the right spots and pierce through some armored vehicles. This weapon is BLOT ACTION which means that you can take more time placing your shot …without the urge of pulling the trigger before the gun is cocked. This gun had a bullet spread of approximately .3 CENTIMETERS FROM A MILE+ AWAY!! (MORE)
On the top of the gun under the handle is a bar that has a end that flips to the side. Pull it to the side, pull back, and hold it there. When you pull it back a slide on the side should open, showing a white cylinder. Turn the cylinder up to decrease or down to increase hop up.
I own a well vsr-10 mbo3 airsoft sniper rifle My gun has been very inaccurate lately I coulnt even hit a guy from 20 feet away I use .2 gram bbs Would .28 gram ones make my gun a lot more accurate?
Try .12 grain BB's, and also check your scope (if you have one) also, the wind might have something to do with it. .12 grain BB's would make it less accurate. You should try .28 they should work.
The best sniper rifle has to be the barrat 50 calibre it has an awesome firepower, and an awesome zoom. Following up to the barrat 50 cal is the walther 2000. it has a 45 calibre round, but makes up for it in speed.
Some of the Pennsylvania long rifles might stake that claim, but prior to the Civil War, Sharps made especially accurate rifles, and they were used for long range shooting. Their name is still with us today- if you are a sharpshooter.
There are many good quality sniper rifles avaible L42 Enfield(British) SR-25 (American) AS50 (British) M21 (American) If you area beginner and looking for best rifels for practice shooting,
Whitch is a better gun the well mb05 awm aps2 airsoft sniper rifle or the tsd type l96 spring action sniper rifle?
Definately the L96 ive had it for a while and it hasn't broke p.s.-Damn that thing is powerful
That's like asking "how much does a car cost?". A sniper rifle is simply any rifle used for the purpose of sniping, whether it's manufactured as a dedicated sniper rifle or not. To buy one, someone might spend anywhere from $50 to several thousands of Dollars.
Neither: They both serve their own purpose. You would not use either one to do the others purpose. A sniper rifle is used to engage long range targets at a very low rate of fire, Commonly used to eliminate very specific targets with a very small window of oppurtunity that a rifleman can not take… advantage of due to distance and the fact that a HVI (high value individual) is usually aware of ground forces in the area, giving the HVI time to escape. On the other hand a snipers main goal is to remain undetected, making the job possible. An assault rifle is used to engage targets at a close, to medium range with a 'get your head down' rate of fire, as well as to give suppressive fire for support (though a light-machine gun is used for this). What the assault rifle can do that a sniper rifle cannot quickly clear rooms, sweep the rooftops quickly, or lay down fast suppressive fire in a split second when needed. BUT .. Usually a man with a sniper usually has a light weight assault rifle on his back for a need of fire fights. Or at least has a small team that has a large amount of fire power to improve the Sniper teams survivability. (MORE)
The most commonly used sniper rifle in the Marines is the M-40A3. It is a standard bolt action rifle with a Remington 700 action that fires the 7.62X51 NATO round.
If your talking about an airsoft gun, then it all depends. Your gun must first be capable of having a adjustable hop up, then if it does, it should be a little wheel or a little nub either along the barrel on in the chamber.
you cheat by: hit the left shift button while holding the Q button He's right it worked for me and it was great !!!!! A message box should appear and you type in SniPER69 and you should have a draganov SVD in your inventory
It depends on the parameters of use and the individual. I know guys who could hit a fly at 500 meters with a rifle/scope combo costing less than 1000 USD. Conversely, I know people who couldn't hit a pie plate at 500 meteres with a 10000 combo. Are you taking about an urban environment with shots se…ldom over 100m or some place in one of the 'stans with shots out to 1000m? Do you care about the action type (single shot, bolt action or semi-auto)? Does it have to be for commercial sale? Any specific time frame, i.e., the past 25 years or in all recorded time? (MORE)
Depends on the sniper and the rifle. Add about 15-20 inches to the barrel length, same as any other rifle. The Remington 700 action used to be very common and probably still is. Barrel lengths are about the same as any varmit rifle, from 20-26 inches roughly. Contrary to popular belief, a longer …barrel will not make your rifle more accurate, and people who shoot for a living should be aware of this fact. That is not to say that if you go and buy a Remington 700 from walmart and stick a powerful scope on it that you have a sniper rifle (actually, by military designation and modern rifles, you might). Usually special care is taken and the common varmit components are changed, the barrel is one upgrade that is helpful for making a rifle more accurate. Other things, like bedding the action and floating the barrel are almost requirements for a competition rifle, and a non-reflective coating on the objective lens is probably an essential for a sniper. In short, to answer your question though, 35-45 inches. The .50BMGs are probably the same length but I don't know too much about them. Same as a varmit rifle. (MORE)
It is possible, and in the history of silenced weapons it may have been done for some special purpose such as assassination, but the rifle will still make an audible sound. With any rifle, the bullet will hit the target before the sound reaches it anyway, and that time is increased by the extra rang…e of a sniper's rifle, so there is little point in silencing them for most wartime applications. The sound emitted can be reduced further still by using subsonic ammunition, but this is less effective, and also can reduce the effective range. (MORE)
You do that one mission for the gurrillas where you have to assassinate a VZ officer. They give you one right their and you can buy it from the contact you did the mission for.
Define "best". Different rifles will have their niche in different applications. A semi-automatic rifle such as the M21, M110, Galatz, SVD, etc. will be ideal for urban environments and intermediate ranges, whereas bolt action rifles traditionally fare better at open areas with longer range shots, b…ut less target rich environments. The large bore sniper rifles have range and power, but suffer for lack of mobility. So, all in all, you really can't define an all-around best. (MORE)
It depends what type of gun it is. If it's an M4, pull back the charging handle and you should see a wheel. Turn the wheel and shoot as you normally would to see if the hop up is on or off; if there is no change after turning the wheel in one direction, try turning it in the other direction.
you don't. uhc super 9 don't have it and the uhc super 9 pro have fixed non-adjustable hop up.
The Enfield SA-80 is a assault rifle carbine from Great Britain. It is not a sniper rifle.
A sniper cannot function without a rifle with which to snipe, nor can a rifle function without someone to fire it. The question is a bit redundant.
Russian sniper rifles of the modern era are the Mosin-Nagant and the Dragunov. See related links
The cartridge is known as 7.62x54R. The diameter of the bullet, however, it actually 7.92 millimetres. A variant in 7.62x51 NATO was manufactured in China, and a civilian sporting variant in .308 Winchester was manufactured in Russia, as well. However, 7.62x54R is the standard for the Dragunov SVD…. 3 things.. accuracy, range, and persistence. a sniper can be any rifle or pistol of any caliber just some are alot better like the barrett but a sniper rifle needs to be accurate when you fire upon the target, it needs to continually hit that spot and it needs to do so from a good distance ill say 300… yards and more. also as it goes a sniper rifle is only as good as the handler. well actually i thought that the SSR 4000 sniper rifle was the best but if u Google or bing what ever winter tatical sniper u will find some great feautures well that is it in my opinon what is urs
After achieving the highest rank on every level and maxing out the destroyer part of the talent tree, I am quite certain the creators of Bunny Flags left it unattainable. Plus, I don't see anyplace for it in the game play screen: riot shield, uzi, rifle, shotgun, pistol...no sniper rifle. Sorry.
se airsoft has it..it is 220euro do so the best thing to do is buy it in taiwan gun for 110euro the postage might be dear for just 1 person so might be cheaper to get a few more people in on the order and split the shipping when you buy it in taiwangun you also get 3mags instead of 1..the only thing… you will have to do is get them to remove the spring..the stock spring makes it shoot at 470fps..which is way to high for here..but you can buy the spring here (m100) which will leave it under 328fps...the springs can be bought for 10euro in se airsoft hope this helps..i will have mine next week form taiwangun cant wait :D (MORE)
Yes, it's the longshot pro. The longshot pro is the sniper rifle that can one hit K.O. you. No Headshots needed even if you're wearing an armor for protection(any armor) it can still kill you in one hit. The longshot pro is Eliminate pro's latest sniper rifle. It's a weapon that you never seen befor…e but it's bullet is extremely fast and powerful. Fight against this kind of sniper rifle and there will be no escape for you. Note: Sniper rifles really takes time to reload. (MORE)
You can`t. The gun is well done, only problem is the air compression part, that is: 1) plastic, that is a really weak point 2) the metal roll on the spring need more room than the plastic air compression has, so the impact WILL destroy the gun very soon. And by soon i mean like no more that 1…0 shots. Mine broke after 5 BBs.... So if you can, sell it as long as it works, because later you`ll be sitting on it forever. (MORE)
Assuming the sniper rifle is spring it is recommended that you keep the spring well lubed (ya go ahead and laugh). Also you should use a pipe cleaner and clean out the barrel once a week. If you want to keep your sniper in top condition that is what you need to do, but it will work without. If you h…ave more questions about airsoft I'm on daily. (MORE)
Depending on what calibers you are referring to. A .308 winchester starts around 750 and go up to 1800 us dollars. The .50 cal. Starts around 1500750 and goes to work around 9800.
don't be afraid to use google search... i did... thanks wiki! 53 in (1.34 meters) (stock extended) 46¾ in (1.18 m) (stock collapsed) (M-200) answer pwned... next! :P
There isn't a name to put to it. Sniping has been around for a long time - the name "sniper" comes from Colonial America, where, as a test of marksmanship skill, the settlers would attempt to shoot small, fast birds known as Snipes. Sharpshooters were used in the American Revolution - the Kentucky R…ifle had a superior range, and was slower to reload than the smoothbore muskets, thus making it better suited for long range sharpshooters. Sniping essentially predates the telescopic scope, and the first "sniper rifles" weren't anything unique - simply, every day rifles, employed in that task. You didn't really see purpose built sniping rifles until the 1960s - "sniper rifles" up to that point had simply been the standard service rifle of whatever nation, which might be given some modifications to suit the role better, such as the M1903A3 rifle, or the Mosin-Nagant M91/30 PU. A sniper rifle is the weapon that they are used A sniper can be refered to a snipist who is hiding and stalking people
L118 and the MSR are the two best but the MSR is more commonly use in.But the L118 is good for no-scoping.
The manufacturer is spelled Barrett (Barrett Firearms Manufacturing), builder of the M82 and XM500 .50 caliber sniper rifles that fire the 12.7x99mm NATO round (Browning machine gun round).
The first documented telescopic rifle sight was invented between 1835 and 1840 by Morgan James of Utica NY. There were earlier crude optical sights as early as the 17th century.
By which side? The US and its allies used 7.62x51 for their sniper rifles. The North Vietnamese typically used 7.62x54R for theirs.
Typical lengths for a sniper rifle vary from as short as 21 inches to as long as 30 inches. Length will vary depending on the weight of the barrel. Longer barrels result is better velocity.
