the clutch system is self adjusting no adjustment can be made . check the clutch master cylinder reservior
There are no ajustments for the hinges they are welded. NEUTZ
This should have a hydraulic clutch and would not be adjustable
You don't. It's hydraulic.
It has a self adjusting clutch so all you need to do is get in the car lift the clutch pedal up as far as it will go (towards the dash) and then push it all the way to the ground and the clutch will adjust itself! Good Luck!
you don't. it's hydraulic and, automatically adjusted hydraulically.
It is important to know what types of fluids to put in a car to make it run smoothly. In a 1990 Chevrolet Pickup 1500 the correct transmission fluid is Dexron III or Dexron VI.
This is a hydraulic master and slave cylinder clutch, there is no adjustment. Check for a leak in the system, a faulty master or slave cylinder, or wear on the clutch plate.
you cannit adjust the clutch without changing to an adjustable clutch cable. b&m makes a good one with and ajustable quadrant that allows you to adjust it on your firewallNew Answeryou can adjust the clutch quadrant by pushing the pedal all of the way down and dumping it. you will hear a pop and that's the spring in the factory quadrant resetting itself. or you can also pull the pedal up as far as it will go and that will adjust it if it's a little loose.
You can bleed it though if the pedal is just low. Check the master and slave cylinders for leaks too.
my hood on my 1990 chev 1500 will not lock? I just replaced the grill and hood as a blazer jumped out of gear and backed into my front end!
Well, I am in the process of figuring this out but, there is a threaded push rod attached to the clutch pedal which has a lock nut right at the back of the clutch where the rod attaches to the pedal. I assume that releasing the locking nut and rotating the push rod will adjust the pedal action up or down and change the engagement point. Looks pretty straight forward.
Jump pins A and B, top row, far right.
