∙ 2015-07-15 18:26:56vertical adjusters are found above the outboard side of the lamp assembly. A special Torx wrench (E8) available at an auto parts store is required. The bubble leveler indicator inside the lens assembly should show when the lamp is properly set.
On my 2000 Windstar, the bubble leveler never moved so aiming process became a pure guess.

∙ 2015-07-15 18:26:56If you respect others then you will go to an auto body shop and have them adjust them for you. I am sure you have had the experience of someone elses misadjusted headlights.
Have this done by a professional. You do not have the equipment to do this correctly.
The headlights of a Ford Windstar may have problems going on if they are burnt out or if there is a wiring problem. Blowing a headlight fuse will also lead to both lights not working.

headlights are best adjusted correctly by using a headlight aimer found at shops that implement vehicle inspections.
Not exactly sure on the Windstar, but recently had the same question for a Contour: try pulling on the lightswitch. Note: the fog lights on the Contour can only be turned on when the headlights are on.
If your looking down at your headlights there will be a a screw on the bottom left of the headlight. It should be a 4mm. Counter clockwise will lower them and clockwise with raise them
