Click the Home tab and underneath the tab, near the where the tab begins, click on New Slide. Click on the word New Slide to choose which layout you want for the new slide or click on the icon to get a slide with a Title box and a Content box. You can press Ctrl + M to get a Title box and a Content box slide.

You can do it by clicking on the mouse or pressing the enter key. You can also right click on the mouse and on the shortcut menu that comes up there is a Next option to move the the next slide. Another way is to set a Slide Transition, which will get the slide to automatically move to the next one after a set amount of time without you having to touch anything. That is useful in some kinds of presentations. You will find the Slide Transition option on the Slide Show menu.

You first click on "Animations" and go to the far right corner. There will be something that says "advance slide". You set the time you want and you are ready.
