For example: in the soft ware industry, let us say an individual with 'C' programming language is brilliant and hence could write absolutely fantastic code..then s/he has great C skills. But this code writer has problems with dealing with others then this person has very bad 'soft skills'. A first grade automobile engineer can build a car from scratch but cannot make the team deliver a 'model' to a deadline could be a person with great hard skills but may be lacking soft skills. Similarly, some one with very bad academic grades need not be a failure in life. Because s/he is quite good at soft skills. May be this person is a great 'people' person would be able to get along well and usually leaves everyone around smiling.
