I am woried my friend's got an eating disorder what should i do?

Try to talk to her about it when there's nobody else around - don't seem demanding or pushy, just like you're concerned. She/he might open up to you, but the normal behavier is to be defensive. If they seem to act uneasy or strange when you ask, tell someone you can trust that you're worried about your friend's strange behavier. You may feel like you're telling on your friend, but you are helping them. Eating disorders can be serious.

∙ 15y agoIf your relatioship is good enough and trusting, you could try to confront her about it. Don't be accusing, negative, or harsh, though. Let her know that you care, because what she (or he, but it usually affects girls) needs most is someone who she can trust and someone who will support her. Make sure that her parents know. What she needs it to go to a rehab center or see a doctor to get professional help to regain her health once more. The best things you can do is encourage her gently to get help and always be there to support her and as a good friend.
