It depends on if she is straight or lesbian

if she is lesbian: You should have no problem in asking her aslong as she is single and looking for another girl you will have no problem in asking just ask her straight forward.

if she is straight: This is the tricky part, if your crush is straight you have to see if she has ever thought about being a lesbian then slowly con her into the idea of being a lesbian and she will probably aprove, however this does not meen she is reluctant to go out with you. you should hang around her and help her with everything do what she says and if she asks you why your doing it then you should say something along the lines of " Ok the truth is, you know when i was talking to you about lesbians? well i think i have a crush on you.." if she sees your serious she will tell you ok i will go out with you if you like it cant be that bad i supose but if she disaproves than i think she isn't the slightest bit interested in going out with you.

I've been in love w/ this girl for almost three years...we're not even friends but we know each other's name and we don't even talk..she also has a bf...frequently, when I'm staring at her i caught her looking at me too...even if i don't tell her that i like/<3 her, i know that she knows about it cause i obviously notice it to her actions...i don't expect/assume that she likes me too but i just want to find out what does this means...

when i first started asking people out i was SO nervous so i just thought of it as asking a friend to hang out... until they said yes ^_^

don't ask them to anything huge on the first date though maybe dinner and a movie but not some 5 star restaurant or anything

Ask her some random questions like "What's you favourite colour?" then ask her is she likes anyone, ask her a couple more random questions and then you will know whether she like you or not
