There really is no way to "beat" it. It is a never ending game! You can get your house to mansion status by upgrading your house as far as it can go, or upgrade Nook's Cranny up to Nookington's. To get Nookingtons you need to have a friend visit your town and buy some from Nook.

∙ 14y agohonestly the game can go on forever but i guess you can say that it is when you completely pay of your house and get it to the highest upgrade when that is done tom nook will build a statue of you in front of the train station (acre A3) if other people (humans) are also playing then the statue will be different: the first to pay off tom nook will have a gold statue the second is silver the third is bronze and the fourth will not have a statuereally you can stop playing whenever you feel like it really just depends on you
