Your Boston terrier had her blood drawn and her BUN creatine levels were really high what could be causing this?

Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine are waste products that are normally filtered from the blood in the kidney and excreted in the urine. If these values exceed normal ranges (this is called azotemia) it indicates renal disease.

How did bunnies get there name?

Also has been argued a Gaelic word bun that meant a stump/root, that could refer to the tail of a hare. It all depends on where you read, who you have talked to or what you've heard.Bun was from the sixteenth century, an English word used for a squirrel or rabbit. It's been said that the word may have referred to the small tail of the rabbit, in the same way that hair at the back of the neck was also called a bun, because both were about the shape and size of a small cake. Bunny possibly meant more than one bun, hence bunny.

Can you put cloth in a rabbit cage?

Depends on the type of cloth. Very thin cloths, or anything thin enough to eat is not recommended with Rabbits, but something a little more durable (hand towel, wash cloth, pillow case etc) is sometimes okay. This really depends on how tame the Rabbit is, and personality. I have scene several different scenarios with my rabbits, with opposite results. My 4 month old bun LOVES towels, and would cuddle up in it all day if I let him. He likes to dig at it, toss wash cloths, and yes rap himself up in it. On the other hand, my 3 1/2 month old bun LOVES TO EAT them, amongst other things. In this case, cloths are a bad idea considering their tiny digestive tracks. Make sure your bun does not "consume" the cloth or other questionable behavior with it. Remember, they sure do love to eat!
