broken heater motor but where is heater motor inside from?
I had that problem on my Grand Espace IV 2.2dci, it was fixed under warranty at the time, they said it was a temperature sensor that failed which was not uncommon. I asked how much that would be if I had to pay & they said about a €100.
hi there you have to remove the top engine mount and inlet manifold about 15 bolts its a bit potchy to get out and then you can get at the heater plugs
Maybe a clogged heater core!
how do you heater control for renault laguna 1999 thanks
location of heater blower resistor 2005 renault laguna
Mine stoped working on number 4 setting took it to Renault they sayed it will cost £542.98 pence.
There's a knurled screw about 1cm diameter on a heater pipe near to the battery. Unscrew this to release air in the system. (Unfortunately the 'O' ring that seals it can rot and break - make sure you have a spare)
hi, the phase two espace,1990-1996 has a rheostat in the heater box, which is uover the top of the engine inside the engine bay.it is removed ria the engine bay and i am told is one heck of a job to get out(approx 3hrs work) mainly because its so fiddely.i need to replace mine but as yet have not done this job.the rhoestat is conveiently located inside the heater box so it must be removed and split into its two halves.oh and there are two types of rheostat and the only way to know which type you need is to remove it first!(cheers renault!)
try changing the thermostat With mine it was Heater matrix clogged with radiator sealant. The workshop cleaned it and it's start working fine!
