How do you build a hunter jumping course?

A basic hunter course usually consists of eight jumping efforts. It will have outside singles and lines, and also diagonal singles and lines. The lines can be any number of strides, although typically they only include 3-6 strides. The fences should be natural looking colours such as brown, grey, white, red and dark green; not bright as in jumper competitions. For fillers, flowers, a fake brick wall, tree branches, wooden filler boxes. The courses are usually quite straight forward and simple, although equitation courses usually include a rollback and involving halting.
