In the engine bay, remove the inlet and outlet hose from the firewall for the heater core, get a heater hose connector that matches the hose sizes (fair warning they are 2 different sizes but i cant remember) and just join the 2 hoses together with the connector and some clamps. you wont have heat or defrost by doing this though.

It is the drain for air conditioning condensation. I was going to say heater core drain for when it springs a leak or [goes bad]. Is there two of these hoses in different locations or dose one serve both purposes?
Yes you can, use a duralast belt # 745K6 from autozone, it will run you about $28

The gas tank itself displays the number 8 on the bottom of it, however my 97 Acheiva seems to be a bottomless well.
Just take one of the heater hoses loose at the heater core and loop it back to the motor to the other heater hose. Or you can take them both loose at the heater core and put a splice connector between them is this is easier.
The map sensor is located next to the idler air control valve on the front of the motor on top. It has a vaccume hose hooked to it and one bolt holding it on with a bracket.
Why would you want to do that? Are you trying to steal it or something? I'm sure anyone with that kind of experience wouldn't share that with an unknown person like you. Good Luck to you to.
I am about to attempt this same procedure on my 97 also, according to the Haynes Manual, theres a screw on the parking brake handle that you have to remove, and one on the shifter also, after that its just a bunch of plastic fastners. once you remove the console and the floor panels, its supposedly just held in by 2 clips.
