It's really not that difficult. Under the hood on the passenger side firewall you'll see the A/C and heater core housing. There will be several screws holding the top of this housing on. Take them out and remove the top being careful not to crack or damage it. You should now be able to see the heater core. It will have two hoses running to it. Remove them. It's been a while since I've done one but there's also a bracket holding the heater core in if I remember correctly. Remove it. Now you should be able to lift the core out. Installation is the reversal.
Bolt pattern for WHAT???????

Drain the water from your 1983 Chevy Caprice Classic cooling system. Remove the heater core water supply hoses. Remove the heater core retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new heater core.
It's on a stretched A/G body frame (Chevy Malibu, Pontiac LeMans, etc.)

Very simple on that car. On the passenger side firewall you'll see two heater hoses running in. Remove the clamps and pull both hoses from the heater core. You'll lose anti freeze doing this. Either use a hose coupler the correct size or remove one of the hoses from the engine and mount the other hose to that location.

Are you asking about the heater blower motor or the engine cooling blower motor?
