How should you catch Cresselia?

To get Cresselia you have to beat the Elite Four then go to Canalave town to the Sailor's house, talk to his son... he will be muttering something about Darkria, then talk to the sailor himself and he will take you to Fullmoon Island where you will see a clearing , Cresselia will be there. You will be shown a pic of her it will disappear. I suggest you go to the Valley Wind Works and search there. Good luck!
If you keep on flying to where it is,it will eventually get tired.................but you might to,so stay focused!

I would highly prefer Quick Ball or Ultra Ball. But, first thing's first.

Go get a Pokemon that has a move "Block" ,"Mean look" or any Pokemon that can stop cresselia from escaping. These are the Pokemon that has the move that can block:

Bronzong - Location: Mt. Coronet (Near the Peek!)

Zubat - Location: Any Caves like the One near Jubilife City

Wobuffet - Location: Lake Valor (Use surf and go to the Bottom-Right of the lake)

First you have to have beat the Pokemon league. Then You ccan go to canalave city and go to the dock that took you to iron island. Bellow the gym. Then go in the guys house and talk to the kid and his mom. Talk to the sailor guy on the dock and he will ask you to go to Full moon island. Then you go there and simply Take the lunar wing (it will put cresslia in your pokedex) and it will run off just like mespirit. Then what you do is you Go give the lunar wing to the dude then use your tracker to catch it. If you were smart enough to not use the master ball (don't worry me and all of my friends forgot) Then use that for cresslia its harder than mespirit. Otherwise quickballs and ultraballs are good. Also you can go to Jubilife city and walk back and forth between the route and city and it will mess them up so they are eventually close to you. Lastly you have to train it well because it wont start out to strong. TPS

After you get the National Pokèdex, go to Canalave City at the Sailor's house. You should see the little boy in his bed with his mother intoning by the bed. After you talk to the boy, you can talk to the sailor. He'll ask you to go to Fullmoon Island and get an item called the Lunar Wing. (You must do this before getting Cresselia) When you find Cresselia, she will disappear, leaving the Lunar Wing. Take the Lunar Wing back and cure the boy. Then, go to the Marking Map on your Pokètch, you should see a little blinking face somewhere on the map. (It may take a while for it to show up,) The hard part is tracking down Ctesselia, because if you use fly, she will teleport to the whole other side of the map. Once you get to her, you can attack. After every attack, she will flee from battle and you must find her again. I recommend using a strong attack but not too strong and using Mean Look if possible to prevent her from fleeing.

get about 40 or 30 pokeballs,ultraballs,then if you have a national pokedex you go to sunnyshore and you go inside a house a couple houses down from the gym, the boy should be in his bed first talk to his mom then him he will be like dark dar watches me, really freaky no? then you go out to the guy who took you to iron island he will be like i need the lunar wing! so he asks you to sail to full moon island, from there you go inside a cavern and cresselia is there! you talk to cresselia she makes a strange sound as she disapears and leaves behind the lunar wing then cresselia will be set free if you have the marking map you can catch it like me!

get mystery gift by going to jubilife lottery go to 3rd floor there is a man and woman talk to the MAN and type in the words everyone happy, then he asks you again and you say wifi connection then go to canalave city and talk to the little boy in the bed his mum says get a orb or something then talk to the guy with the boat and he says you can go to fullmoon island if you are done with Cynthia and have your national. then go there and cresselia is there but it runs away then you go and use block/master ball/mean look and then get it to 1 hp then paralyze/freeze/put it to sleep then use like 50 dusk balls that's how i caught mine, lvl 50.
