How do catch a mew on Pokemon pearl without using cheats and is not a fake?

Your unable to catch a wild mew on pearl im afraid, as there are only two ways to catch a mew:
1. Use a cheat cartridge
2. Trade it over from Older Pokemon games( and its a nightmare to get 'im on them as well...)
Soz to burst your bubble, but why not try trading it over the GTS( Global Trading Station)? u may get a Japanese mew but at least u will have one...i would do that but there are three problams. ∙ 13y agoThere is no way to catch Mew in Pokemon Platinum without Action Replay,but there is a way to get it. You must be able to use Wii Shop Chanel. You must get My Pokemon Ranch, wich is only on the Wii. You have to store 999 Pokemon and Hayley will give you Mew. My Pokemon Ranch is only compatible with Diamond and Pearl, so transfer it to Diamond or Pearl and then trade it to Platinum.

This will not work if you have a masterball or Pokemon over level 1. Your game will crash and youll have to start all over again. I hate them, catch Deoxys instead.
