∙ 13y agoYes, there are hacks and mods that you can download which will allow you to change your Sims names, etc.
One suggestion would be to check out the "InSIMenator" at insimenator.org. The direct download link is: http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,100226.0.html
It will allow you to rename, impregnate, edit family trees, give sims a facelift, etc.

Of course you can, but only at first. No second chance. You can create a first and last name for the sim you chose or made.
I mean, what if your sims' were engaged and they had a baby with with the same surname as the Mum's and then the new parents got married. Could you change the baby's surname to the parents married name? If not is there not even any cheats to change the surname?
