How do you change a brake pad on a 1993 Mitsubishi Mirage?

you basically have only 2 bolts to remove (2 different sizes) They are common household size. If you wish to replace the rotor as well you have only 2 more bolts to remove. Make sure you clean off as much brake dust or anything else as you can. With a C clamp take your old brake pad place it over the caliper piston and slowly SLOWLY tighten the clamp to make the piston go as far back as poosible. Slap on your new pads and/or rotors tighten everything down. Before you jump in your car and drive off make sure you pump your brakes with the car off(apply the brake pedal) till if feels stiff, not all cars after replacing brakes will have that new brake feel but aslong as the brake pedal doesn't hit the floor you should be good. Now you can drive your car.

It's located on the firewall, looking from the front of the car..almost centered.
