- Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands
- Use small locking pliers to clamp the fuel lines attached to the filter shut
- Removethe bolts and lower the fuel filter and holder assembly for access
- Pry back the locking clips and push the filter up out of the holder
- Use pliers to slide the fuel line clamps back and diconnect the fuel hoses from the filter
Auxiliary Filter:
- Use small locking pliers to clamp the fuel lines attached to the filter shut.Slide the fuel line clamps back using pliers grasp the fuel lines and disconnect them from the filter using a twisting motion
