The first thing is remove the wheel, and brake assembly. Then remove the brake backing plate (that is what the brakes are mounted on), then you should be able to simply pull the axle out of the housing. The bearing is pressed on to the shaft. Take the Assembly to a shop with a press to get the old bearing off and press the new bearing on to the shaft. ------this dude is an idiot. you do not remove the break backing plate to remove a wheel bearing whatsoever. the axle MUST be removed to even pull the backing plate, which is a completely unnecessary step in wheel bearing removal/replacement. there are 2 clips within the differential holding each individual axle in place. the rear diff cover must be removed (use a drip pan to catch the 90wt gear oil in the diff) then push in axle and pull c-clip. then and only then will the axle come out. dont pull your break backing plate, as this is totally unnecessary and idiotic to even propose as a step in rear wheel bearing replacement.

Begin by removing the tire and wheel from your 1993 Nissan. Remove the end of the axle. Remove the wheel bearing nut. Remove the wheel seal and the wheel bearing. Reverse the process to install your new rear wheel bearing.
