Step 1: Ensure engine is off, key is removed, and park brake is engaged.

Step 2: Lower the tailgate.

Step 3: With a Phillips screwdriver, loosen and remove the 2 Phillips retaining screws that secure the tail light assembly to the vehicle. The screws are located just inside the tailgate area aside the tail light assembly.

Step 4: Grasp the tail light assembly and gently slide it horizontally and away from the vehicle.

Step 5: Grasp the desired light socket and gently twist counterclockwise to remove the socket out of the tail light assembly.

Step 6: Remove and replace the old bulb and reinsert socket into tail light assembly. Gently twist the socket clockwise and ensure socket is properly seated, snug and secure.

Step 7: Gently reinsert the tail light assembly back onto the vehicle. In doing so, ensure the tail light assembly guide tabs are properly aligned and inserted into the vehicle's guide slots for secure fitment.

Step 8: Secure the tail light assembly using the 2 Phillips retaining screws.
