how do you fix chevy 20 ac to blow in correct vents
AutoZone.com will show you a pic.............
to the left of the blower motor. It's on the left side of the engine compartment
just a tip my 1988 Chevy g20 van i thought the blower was out but the ground wire on the motor is riveted to the housing and worked lose it would work sometimes but i took out the rivet and put a screw in real tight and it fixed it permanent
remove the blower motor and black box in the engine bay by the blower motor. these evap. cores do leak on the g20s
Looking at the procedure in my 1980 GM service manual and comparing it to my 1984 G20 van, it apears to be simple process. 1983 should be very close. Negative battery cable must be disconnected. Coolant recovery tank and power antenna need to be removed. Blower motor lead wire is disconnected. Blower motor mounting screws (number may vary) are removed. Blower motor and wheel (cage) are removed as an assembly by prying gently on the blower flange. The sealer may be damaged in the process. The wheel can be removed from the motor. Apply new bead of sealer to the entire circumference of the mounting flange of the new motor. Installation is reverse of removal.

motor on bed stays runing
the g20 should be a 350 and I believe the caprice is a 305 you can swap the engines but you will also probably have to swap the intake and exhaust manifolds
Chevy G20 - Mark III Conversion Is under the floor on the driver side, somewhere in the area where is the window behind the driver's seat.
Open the hood and it is on the left (passenger) side near the coolant reservoir.
Its located to the left of the blower motor inside the a/c case and can be seen a lot better if you remove the glovebox.........
yes you can.
