Remove panel under steering wheel there are a few screws then it will pop off. Then remove metal bracket behind the panel. Now you should be able to lie on your back and remove cable end off by prying it with a screw drive. There is another plastic clip that will have to be removed you'll see it. Now on the drivers side on the transmission pry the other end of the cable off. There is a metal bracket holding the cable, press on the plastic release and the cable will slide forward out of bracket. No under the hood on drivers side there is a plastic tab holding the cable to the fire wall use a screw driver and pry it out. Now go back inside the cab use a screw driver to loosed the rubber seal away from the fire wall and work the cable into the cab. Re-install in reverse order, you can manually put into park by moving the shift mechanism all the wal clock wise. You can check by seeing if the truck starts.
