to remove the front brakes you need a 7mm hex socket and a 10 mm hex socket
If you are meaning SL they swap no problem. Some of the electronics from the original car will have to be swapped to the donor engine.

What do you mean by compatible? Are you referring to parts being interchangeable? If so, some parts may be the same and some are not.
Remove 2 ea bolts, disconnect cable coming from battery and pull. Always disconnect positive terminal on battery before performing maintenance.
If you are talking about the engine pcm, is located on top of the engine on the driver side.
