There are screws located behind the ash tray, unscrew them and pop the plastic off around the shifter, then pop out the panel where the lights are located. you can get different colored lights are discount or autozone... or you can even put the led strip lights from discount in.
If you are trying to change the lights because they all went out. Try a 20 AMP fuse in the fuse box by the steering wheel. In the book it is marked ext lp. It is the 4th fuse in the second row. All those lights went out in my car at one time 4 months ago. Just figured it out today. Debi
