On some cars you open the hood, and the light socket will be right on the inside behind the fixture itself. A quarter turn counter clockwise and pull will remove the socket. Then push in while turning a quarter turn counter clockwise again will release the bulb, or on newer ones, you just pull them out as they are the spade type. On some cars you will have screws holding the lens assembly in, and it would have to be removed to replace the bulb. Then still on others, you would reach underneath the bumper.

Remove the panel under steering wheel. There will be 2 flashers. Replace one on right.
There is no relay. The flasher in under the dash on the left of the steering column
in the fuse pannel located on the drivers side of the dash facing the door.
pull trunk liner away from light that needs replacing, rotate bulb socket counter clockwise r/r bulb.
It is directly above the brake pedal mounted to the right of the steering column. Under the drivers side of the dashboard, look for a round silver disc that has prongs on the back .It is attached to the fuse panel.
You can change the front turn signal, on your 2006 Pontiac Montana, by removing the retaining nuts. Remove the wiring harness. The turn signal will come free. Reverse the process to install the new turn signal.
The 1991 Pontiac turn signal flasher relay switch can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher relay switch will be above the gas pedal.
Turn on the hazard switch (emergency blinkers). You should hear it under the dashboard on the drivers side. The emergency blinker and turn signal are each controlled by a different relay but the relays look alike. Once you've located the emergency blinker relay, the turn signal relay is nearby.

In order to change the signal light, you need to look under the bumper. There are 5 to 6 bolts that need to be removed in order to remove the cover.Ê

Look on or around the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side! It is round!

My Haynes manual says that the "96 turn signal/hazard flasher is plugged into the "convenience center" which is mounted at the top of the left kick panel. FriPilot
Pulling the turn signal switch toward you should switch the lights to the low beams. If that doesn't work, you may have to replace the switch, which means replacing the entire turn signal stalk.
