How do you change the fuel filter on a 1992 Oldsmobile Achieva?

the fuel filter is clipped to the frame by the passenger rear wheel.
there is a line from the gas tank the one from the passenger side
and one to the drivers side leading to the engine
you need to drain the remaining gas, i think the gas tank line is rubber so you can just pinch it.
i think you need a special filter tool to remove the other line.
after you remove the lines you just pull it out and replace and reconnect the lines( check for leaks, the seals dont always sit perfect the first time)
talk to your auto parts store most lend out tools for free or small fee

is it hard to change the water pump on a 1992 Oldsmobile achieva. Yes, it is very hard to replace a water pump on an Achieva. When the pump died on my 1996 Achieva, the engine needed to be unbolted and removed to get to it. As I recall, it cost about $500. I have a 95 Olds Achieva 3.1 and the water pump was very easy to change. Mine is on the front passenger side of the engine. Very easy to get to, just be careful not to break any bolts off. lol
