how do you change the engine oil and oil filter on a 96 ford aspire
check your headlight switch
If I remember correctly, the 96 I used to have had the headlight switch at the end of the turn signal lever, and the 95 should have the same setup.
I have a 1995/96 ford aspire. During a emission testing the car failed due to a PO510 code - closed throttle position switch. What does that mean? And how do I fix it? Thanks
Typically this is a failure of the headlight switch assembly. See the question about how to replace the headlight switch in a 1991 Cherokee for the answer of how to accomplish.
Use a jumper across the inertia switch if the fuel pump comes on-its defective
You more than likely need to replace the headlight switch. Lights not going out when turned off is a symptom of a bad headlight switch.
where is the head light timer on 96 ford explorer
Autozone.com has a listing for the headlight for a 96 Grand Cherokee, price listed is $95.99 u.s.
On a 92-96 Ford F series it is located to the right of the headlight switch, too the left of the instrument cluster.
There is no Answer for this question.
I just got some autolites for my 96 aspire. gap is .044"
there is a cover that pops off from around the whole driver side of the dash its a bit of a pain. then the switch just has a couple screws and a connector
On my 96 Cherokee Country there is a button on the underside of the switch that releases the knob and shaft and the shaft just pushes back in until it catches.
where is the oil pressure switch on my 96 Yukon
Check fuse for tail/parking/dash lights
I'm not for sure if it's the same as a 96 aspire, but in the 96 all you have to do unscrew the screws that are located on the outer edge of the panel. Then remove the cover on the mirrior inside the car.
Just use the suggested R15
The ignition switch is on the steering column about 12 inches from the floor. Remove the 2 screws that hold it on.
Go to your local auto parts store and get you a Chilton manual for Ford Pickups and Bronco 1987-96. They have a diagram for that.
I know that they have R15 in the size I don't know the rest original tires are 165/70 R13 for the 96 and 97 aspire
OK, this is most likely the DLR (daytime running light module) it is located under the fuse/relay box or tipm as it is called. Best of luck
Check the timing belt.
