This job is of skilled to moderate difficulty. It will require the vehicle to be safely lifted and the engine to be supported. Once lifted and the engine supported the two engine mounts can be unbolted. It would help to have an air wrench due to the torque involved. There should be two bolts retaining each mount. Once removed the mounting surfaces should be cleaned and degreased. The new mounts can then be replaced.
With great difficulty.
Check the motor mounts.
how to change the blower motor
2 motor mounts.
hi this is peter i have a 2001 chevy blazer and how do i change the encoder motor on the transfer case? thanks
The four wheel drive S10 with the 4.3L engine motor mounts are very hard to do even on a lift. It's not a job I would attempt at home in the driveway. The two wheel drive S10, 4.3L is easier.
where is the blower motor on a 2001 chevy blazer
How many motor mounts in 2004 Chevy Malibu?
Change motor mounts and install...
yes the 4.3L vortech has the same motor mounts as the 350
Very difficult job to do on the ground. Even with the vehicle up on a lift it is a difficult job. Recommend purchasing a shop manual if you intend on doing this job yourself.
If the Buick 305 is really a Chevy 305, then the motor mounts will interchange with a Chevy 350.
