It is very simple to drain oil and fill it all you have to do is unscrew the bolt under the bike to drain it and unscrew the dip stick to add oil
Remove drain plug and allow oil to drain. Insert drain plug. Remove fill plug and fill with the appropriate type and amount of oil. Install fill plug.
pull drain plug on bottom of crankcase. remove filter. Replace new filter. replace drain plug. fill oil to given line. simple.

Take the drain plug out let the oil drain replace the oil filter, put drain plug back in and fill with the recommended ammount and type of oil.
The transmission drain plug is located on the bottom of the transmission pan. The fill port is on top, remove the drain plug, and fill port, allow to completely drain. Reinstall the drain plug and fill with 1 quart transmission oil. Reinstall the fill plug.

remove the drain plug... wait for old oil to drain. remove oil filter wait for oil to drain. install new oil filter. reinstall drain plug. fill with correct oil till full.
remove the oil filter. let it drain .Then remove the oil drain bolt at the bottom of oil pan and drain it. Put a new filter on and tighten it. Then tighten the drain bolt and fill to level with new oil.
Place a canister below the oil pan to catch the used oil. Remove the oil pan drain plug. Allow the oil to drain out. Replace the oil pan drain plug. Fill the motor with new oil.

According to my Sears manual, there is no drain plug. You need to remove the oil dipstick and tip the mower on its side so that the oil will drain out of the fill location. It is odd, but that is how you do it.
