1.Located underneath the engine, remove the drain plug from the oil pan. Make sure you have a large enough oil pan or whatever to hold approx. 5 quarts or oil. Allow this to drain until it stops.
2.Replace the drain plug.
3. Now locate the oil filter on the front of the motor, place you oil pan under it again, as when you remove it, it will drain a bit more oil.
4.Put new oil filter in, and be sure to put some of the new oil in it, and on the rubber seal around the filter to avoid it locking to the engine.
5.Fill the correct amount of oil as located in your owner's manual, should be around 5 quart's.(Check your owners manual for correct oil types recommended and for correct amount.)
6.Be sure that you have no leaks when filling and upon a test start to be safe)
7. Check you oil level regularly to make sure nothing is wrong with you car or your job you did on your oil change. And replace you oil every 3,00miles in extreme hot and cold temperatures. Otherwise, it should prob be about 4,000 to 5,000miles.
