How do you change the outside temperature sensor that reads outside temperature on 2000 GMC Yukon Denali?
Your outside temperature display in your 2003 altima is reading wrong where is the outside temperature sensor located?
The outside temperature sensor is located on the front left side of the vehicle in the lower bumper area. There is a small hole in the bumper where the sensor simply sticks thru the hole and is held in place by a small, raised rubber ring around the end of the sensor. Should the sensor fall out of it's normal place, the temperature will not be correct as it is affected by engine heat.
There are several temperature sensors on a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo. A temperature sensor for outside temperature is located near the passenger side wheel underneath the vehicle. A manifold temperature sensor is located in the manifold. There is also an air temperature sensor in the hose that leads from the air filter to the motor. Still another temperature sensor is the thermostat in the upper radiator hose near the water pump.

According to the manual the outside temperature sensor is located behind the front bumper. Roughly in the location of the driver side fog lamps would be placed. Unless the car came equipped with an outside temperature gauge getting it to display correctly though the instrument package may be a little iffy.
