How do you change the shocks on a 1999 Chevy Camaro?

The rears are a breeze, but you should have a mechanic chage the front...definite hospital action from the fronts.... whoever gave this answer didn't actually explain how the rear shocks are changed, other than it is easy to do. i am also looking to change the rear shocks on my 1997 Camaro and can't find any info on how to do this. If someone knows how to find the top of the shock from the inside rear compartment. please let me know.

In regards to the 97 Camaro rear shocks, the top nut is located behind the back seat under the carpet and a foam cover. I lowered the back seat, removed the inside molding in the hatchback area and was able to pull up the carpet far enough to reach the top nut.
