How do you change the spark plugs in a 1988 Chevy Cheyenne 1500?
Lefty Lucy ~ Righty Tighty OK, Do 1 plug & 1 wire off at a time. Do not overtighten, snug only. You don't own ANY tools yet, do you! Ask the nice people at parts store for the right socket for plugs, 3/8 drive should do fine. Put a soft rubber tubeing over porcelin end to start plug into thread. Makes easer to reach & helps prevent cross threading. Pretend you are in the middle of NO WARE, the only way you get home, is fix it now.You can do this. Buy 1 or 2 sizes of rubber mallets, you'll find out why latter.
