The speed sensors are located on the transmission, facing towards the front of the van. There are 2 of them. One is input, and the other is output. They are aprox. $24 each at Autozone. It will probably be easier to change them if you remove the battery, or you might be able to reach them from underneath. Most auto part stores will let you look at their repair manuals to see the diagram as long as you are buying the parts from them.
The harness for the transmission speed sensors is on the transmission.

hi the speed sensor on a 96 caravan is located right under the air filter and on the transmission to replace it you just need to remove the air filterand you will see it on top of the tranny.
On a 1999 its on the rear brake housing. It bolts on the back side.
