You already have a 3rd brake light behind the rear glass. Do you mean change the bulbs? If you do need to change the bulb then all you need to do is take off the paneling inside on the liftgate and you will have access to your lights.

To replace the brake light bulb you need to remove the whole light assembly. Once removed the change is simple.
Mine simply needed brake fluid to fill it to the line indicated on the brake fliud container.
