Plymouth Breeze was created in 1996.
it is in the block behind the timing cover. the timing belt drives the water pump so you have to remove the timing components to install the water pump.
you have to replace the t.p.s (throttle positioning sensor ) that's how i fixed the idle on my Plymouth breeze
Which drain plugs?
On a 1996 Plymouth Breeze, the crankshaft sensor can be found above the oil filter. It should be accessible without having to remove any other parts.
On the bottom of the oil pan.
Plymouth does not use inertia/reset switches.
Engine and trans out the botom at the same time.
The crank sensor sends a signal to control the spark timing to the engine. If the sensor goes bad the engine may run rough or not run at all.
no special tools are needed
the sensor is probly bad or you have short in it
